Scott, Grigory and I were all on the same flight to Japan. We left the Seattle airport terminal at 11:45am and arrived in Tokyo-narito airport around 3:30pm local time. The flight took around 9 hours but it was an easy flight.
The first thing we did was catch a train in to Tokyo proper, which took about 1.5 hours.
We checked into our hotel and dropped off our bags at a place called Asakusa Central Hotel. We then walked around to explore the area and get some food. We stopped by a big store called Don Quixote which I’ve heard lots about before!
I got the spicy miso ramen and Scott and Grigory got the regular miso ramen, all of it was delicious!
It’s very clean in Japan and similar to Korea in that they don’t provide many public trash cans.
